The Steven Bailey Foundation is committed to providing a website, programs, communications, and application processes that are reasonably accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. The Foundation seeks to identify and remove barriers where reasonably practicable and to improve access as technologies, standards, and our programs evolve.
Accessibility Standard
The Foundation aims to design and maintain its website with recognized accessibility principles in mind, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2 Level AA as a practical reference standard.
This does not mean that every page, document, third-party integration, or piece of content will be completely free from accessibility barriers at all times. Rather, the Foundation intends to make reasonable and continuing efforts to improve accessibility and usability.

Users who encounter an accessibility problem involving a third-party service are encouraged to notify the Foundation so that we can evaluate whether an alternative method can reasonably be provided.
Documents and Uploaded Files
Some information may be provided through PDF documents, images, downloadable forms, or other files.
The Foundation will make reasonable efforts to provide accessible documents when practical. However, older documents, third-party documents, scanned files, or materials received from external sources may not always be fully accessible.
Individuals who are unable to access a document should contact the Foundation and identify the document or information needed.
Images and Multimedia
The Foundation intends to provide meaningful alternative text for informative images where appropriate.
Decorative images may be intentionally excluded from assistive-technology output when they do not convey meaningful information.

Reasonable Accommodations for Foundation Programs
Website accessibility is only one part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to reasonable access.
Individuals with disabilities who need a reasonable accommodation to apply for or participate in a Foundation program are encouraged to contact the Foundation.
The Foundation will consider accommodation requests individually in accordance with applicable law, the nature of the program, available resources, safety considerations, and operational feasibility.
An accommodation request will not automatically disqualify an individual from consideration for Foundation assistance.
Accessibility and Plumbing Assistance
An individual who cannot complete the online Request Plumbing Assistance application because of a disability may request assistance submitting the necessary information through an alternative method.
The Foundation may still require sufficient information to evaluate eligibility and understand the requested assistance, but will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary barriers in the application process.
Accessibility and Scholarship Applications
Scholarship applicants who require reasonable assistance accessing or completing Foundation application materials may contact the Foundation.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, the Foundation may provide alternative formats or another accessible submission method without altering the substantive eligibility or selection requirements of the scholarship program.
Ongoing Review
Accessibility practices and technologies continue to evolve.
The Foundation may periodically review:
- Website navigation
- Forms
- Color contrast
- Heading structure
- Keyboard functionality
- Images
- Links
- Documents
- Third-party integrations
- Mobile responsiveness
- Assistive-technology compatibility
Identified issues may be prioritized based on severity, impact, available resources, technical feasibility, and frequency of use.
Known Limitations
Despite reasonable efforts, accessibility barriers may occasionally occur.
Potential limitations may arise from:
- Third-party plugins
- Embedded donation platforms
- External websites
- Legacy documents
- Scanned materials
- User-generated or external content
- Browser or assistive-technology differences
- Temporary technical problems
- Newly added website features
The Foundation welcomes notice of accessibility problems so they can be reviewed and addressed where reasonably possible.
Reporting an Accessibility Problem
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Foundation website, please contact us and provide, if possible:
- The page or URL where the problem occurred
- A description of the accessibility barrier
- The information or functionality you were trying to access
- Your preferred method of communication
You are not required to disclose the nature of a disability unless that information is voluntarily provided and relevant to an accommodation request.
The Foundation will make a good-faith effort to review reported issues and provide reasonable access or an alternative method when practicable.
Non-Retaliation
The Foundation will not intentionally deny consideration for charitable assistance, scholarships, volunteer opportunities, or other programs merely because an individual reported an accessibility concern or requested a reasonable accommodation in good faith.
No Guarantee of Universal Compatibility
Because website technologies, devices, browsers, and assistive technologies differ, the Foundation cannot guarantee that every feature will function identically with every possible technology configuration.
The Foundation’s commitment is to make reasonable, continuing efforts toward accessibility and to respond in good faith when barriers are identified.
Changes to This Statement
The Foundation may update this Accessibility Statement as technology, website functionality, accessibility practices, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be posted on the Foundation website with an updated effective date.
