How assistance is awarded

Submission of an application does not guarantee approval, funding, services, or assistance. Requests are reviewed through a standardized process intended to direct limited charitable resources toward the greatest demonstrated need.

Review factors may include financial hardship, household circumstances, urgency, health and safety concerns, vulnerability of household occupants, available resources, applicant participation, and the likely impact of assistance.

Qualified applicants may be approved, placed on a waiting list, offered partial assistance, referred to another organization, or denied assistance. All decisions remain subject to available funding, volunteer capacity, donated materials, contractor availability, site conditions, and written program terms.
